Here’s a question I answered about an Indesit washer dryer with flashing lights and a timer dial clicking round continuously. Flashing lights usually indicate an error, and counting the light flashes (if they are flashing in a cycle and not continuously) can reveal an error code.
I have an Indesit WD12 washer dryer. The programmer keeps turning/clicking around and i note that the on/off red light flashes on a cycle of 13 times on and off as the dial gets to a certain point. I have tried to reset it as in your suggestions ie turning the power off turning it to one of the "off" black dots (there are 3 of these) then turning it back on again but to no avail. Any ideas please?
Resetting the dial on an Indesit will only work if it’s clicking round because you’ve changed the programme or if you have started a programme and want to change it. If the dial is clicking round because of a fault on the appliance then as soon as the fault is re-encountered it will start clicking round again.
If the dial clicking round is accompanied by the led flashing 13 times the error is “Dryer fan does not work, dryer NTC faulty” The NTC is the thermostat controlling the dryer.
