The other day I posted about the AEG-Electrolux dishwasher safety notice but bizarrely the important safety notice publicity doesn’t mention the John Lewis dishwasher, which is made by the AEG-Electrolux group and apparently similarly affected.
As it happens I popped into a John Lewis store this morning and they had a safety notice on the counter in the white goods section.
JLDWW1201 dishwasher
Serial numbers affected are between 62400001 to 72399999
If you have one of these dishwashers, don’t use it again until you have telephoned 0800 7076258 as soon as possible.

I received an email the other day from a (rightly) concerned dishwasher owner –
Needless to say I have contacted Electrolux / Zanussi to clarify this and assured the concerned John Lewis dishwasher owner that I personally copied the information on this warning from the notice on the John Lewis counter in Sheffield.
I will update with anything I find out. If anyone has any further information please contact me
Electrolux / Zanussi never replied to my query.
