This error code is from a built-in dishwasher bought from John Lewis model number JLBIDW1200. As with all John Lewis brand appliances, it is not manufactured by John Lewis, but made for them by (in this case) NEFF).
Neff is a very good brand of appliances. This dishwasher displays error codes in a digital display on the control panel. If the number 10 appears in red on the LED display it means there is a problem with the water. The dishwasher doesn’t know exactly why, but for some reason it’s detecting that water isn’t getting inside.
What causes error 10?
This could be caused by something as simple as a kinked fill hose, or the water tap may not be turned on properly. Or it could be something more complex. The best thing to do is follow the advice in my washing machine help article, machine won’t fill with water. Although this article is written for washing machines, the principle of checking all the basics is exactly the same. This guide will help find or discount the most common associated faults. If it doesn’t help, I would advise finding an appliance engineer
