For me, it’s to make better purchasing decisions, to have experts test and show me the best – and worst – buys, and to save me time, stress, and money.
In these tough times, being in the know before spending money on expensive products or services is pretty important.
It may have a monthly cost, but the savings I make definitely cancel it out (examples below). So I see the Which? subscription as more of an investment.

As well as being a Which? member, I’m an affiliate too, but this is my sincere personal experience and opinion. It’s not just the big purchases. After reading a Which? Article I switched our expensive big-brand dishwasher tablets to a brand that Which? showed works just as well, but at half the price, saving over £40 a year.
I also read an article where they, “found a brilliant own-brand laundry detergent that could significantly cut your laundry costs”. That now saves us a further £27 a year.
They are just two small examples where my investment in Which? membership saved me real money. I also count all my major appliance and product purchases as saving me money, because they’ve all been good purchases – including my printer, that saves me having to buy new ink every several weeks.
There are thousands of reviews you can trust, best buy recommendations, and don’t buy warnings for washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, dishwashers, and all other household appliances. Plus of course on most other products.
