I had a very old (18 years) gas cooker on which the door seals had perished. The engineer came to assess the problem and was sure it could be repaired. He obtained the parts and fitted them. He was very polite punctual and went above and beyond to resolve a problem arising from the repair.

The engineer telephoned me to make an appointment. He arrived at the time arranged. Very polite and has kept me informed on parts required. He has now gone to order parts and will return.

Failed to repair an induction hob and warming drawer, leaving a very large bill for time and parts. Hob completely broken, having started with just 1 dead zone. We had to buy a new hob for £1000 having also paid nearly that much for failed repairs. Warming drawer still broken after fitting a part costing £215 and no refund. Awaiting resolution and if that's positive I will update my review. Update 1 May 2026 - no response to complaints from Magun and the engineer now sending letters threatening counterclaims for his reduced workload and refusing any refund or resonsibility for failed repairs. We are left with a bill for £994 for parts that have failed to fix the repairs and he appears to have given up on trying to sucessfully repair these.

When phoning to explain the problem to our cooker ,and booking a time for repair to be done, everything was explained in a simple and pleasant manner, and the work was done in a very professional way and at the time of the booking

Initial service from Magun was good. Subcontractor arrived the next working day. Repair eventually completed 2 weeks later. Some delay due to part delivery but subcontractor was not proactive enough in keeping me updated. Work carried out satisfactorily.

Initial contact with BCP Domestic Appliance Repairs good. Subcontractor came next working day. Grill element in NEFF oven needed replacing. Engineer did not actually switch oven on during first visit to confirm problem but damaged element easily visible. Part ordered which took a week. Then another week before engineer returned, which was at my instigation, not his. Lack of communication from engineer, needed prompting to get updates.
