This continues my articles on error codes for dishwashers bought from John Lewis (example model number JLBIDW1200) which are manufactured by NEFF. These error codes may well be used on many other Neff branded dishwashers too as it’s very unlikely the appliances are fundamentally different. If “,30” appears in the display (red LED) it means that the anti flood device has activated.

Dishwashers bought from John Lewis (model number JLBIDW1200) which are manufactured by NEFF, display error codes in the digital display. If 20 appears in the display (red LED) it means there is a problem with draining the water. This should however be fairly obvious without an error code as the dishwasher should be full of water. It is possible that it’s only partially drained out the water though, so check under the main pull out filter in the base just under the lower spray arm.
I have a built in dishwasher bought from John Lewis model number JLBIDW1200 (manufactured by NEFF), which displays error codes in the digital display. If ,10 appears in red LED it means there is a problem with the water. For some reason it’s detecting that water isn’t getting inside.
The error code E10 on a Hotpoint dishwasher refers to a time out for either fill or empty. The wash cycle’s program control allows a set time to fill. After this time if it hasn’t received the signal that the dishwasher has filled up with the right level of water it will time out and display E10. Conversely if it times out on draining and there’s no signal that the dishwasher has emptied all the water properly the same error is called.
