I’ve just started developing the washing machine repairs section on Washerhelp.co.uk by adding a page dedicated to affiliated links to repair company web sites. This is long overdue as linking to web sites and companies related to appliances is a useful resource for people researching washing machine or other appliance repairs. Although titled, “washing machine repairs” these companies repair all domestic appliances.
The repairs section already gives lots of free advice on repair companies and engineers and even diy repairs, which I’ve developed long before even considering advertising repair companies but now I’m starting to add links to facilitate booking a repairman for people wanting to do so (which help keep Washerhelp and this Blog going) – Book washing machine (or another appliance) repairs

Hi,
I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but another good source to use to find a local repairman is mr-skill.co.uk . You can get local tradesmen to bid on your project, whether it be a washing machine repair or another appliance repair project.
Cheers,
Court
Hello Court: I get the impression you are genuinely recommending (I get a lot of spamming) though it’s a little awkward allowing recommendations to rival companies on an article announcing I’ve got some links to repairers up to help generate income which helps keep my sites running :-)
I had a look at the site and it looks nice, well designed, and might be useful for building work and big projects but in all honesty I can’t see it working for appliance repairs at all.
All the requests listed on the front page going back 2 or 3 days haven’t had a single response. If you have a broken down washing machine or fridge freezer you can’t afford to post a request and wait hoping someone will respond. It’s way too urgent for that. There’s also no section for appliance repairs. I can’t see appliance engineers bidding for work because there’s no where near enough profit in repairing a single appliance to fight over. An house extension or installing central heating yes, but not repairing a washing machine.
