Hello Dave, problem is that we have no mains gas in our village, but even if we did have, I would still have to buy the gas. The key is that I get very cheap hot water and I might just make a radiator heated drying cupboard instead. Ideally I need a tumble drier that would suck in warm air through a heat exchanger heated by my hot water, I know this doesn't exist !

we get very low cost hot waterb from a log burner. We also use an electric tumble dryer which of course uses a large amount of power to dry the clothes. Does anyone offer a tumble drier where the heat is supplied by hot water rather than electricity?
