Dishwashers in fire scare: Urgent attention required
Some AEG-Electrolux and ZANUSSI-Electrolux dishwashers are the subject of an urgent safety notice regarding the potential risk of a fire.
No product bought before July 2006 is affected, but the following models with this potential problem are -
- AEG-Electrolux Models -
- F50765 - PNC no - 911916296
- F50765 - PNC no - 911516005
- ZANUSSI-Electrolux Models -
- ZSF6161 - PNC no - 911916239
- ZSF6161 S - PNC no - 911916240
- ZDF501 - PNC no - 911516002
- ZDF501 S - PNC no - 911516007
- IZZI ALU - PNC no - 911915225
- ZSF6161 N - PNC no - 911916260
- ZSF6161 X - PNC no - 911916265
Only the following serial numbers are affected: 62700001 to 64099999 and 70800001 to 71699999.
The model number and PNC number should be on a rating plate at the side of the door. Drop the door down and look at the right edge of the door.

NOTE: If you are the owner of an affected model you must stop using your dishwasher and switch it off. This safety notice does not affect any other AEG-Electrolux or ZANUSSI-Electrolux appliance.
