Buying appliances online expected to grow

I’ve just read that online shopping is, “bucking the recession and on course to notch up sales of £31.2 billion – or 10% of all retail spending by 2013″. This was a report on research carried out by Verdict Research.

Apparently online shopping numbers are at an all-time high. Surprisingly the majority of people shopping online appear to be quite well off and buying online as much out of convenience than a thirst for bargains. According to the research 56.8% of all online spending is carried out by the richest AB group of customers. Of course the figures are covering all of online spending, which includes many other products and not just appliances, but at least it shows that buying online is still growing in popularity.

Anyone interested in buying kitchen appliances online can find plenty of help here and it’s not just by pointing you to online stores. I’ve written extensive free buying and consumer advice advice too.
