Black white goods?

We’ve had non-white white goods for many years, but now all of a sudden black appliances seem set to become the latest fad. I suppose it’s nice to have something different but it’s all very superficial. The main problem is that once you’ve converted everything to black, if (when) they go out of fashion you won’t be able to buy a matching one and will have to disrupt the colour coordination.

The beauty of white white goods is that they never truly go out of fashion. Even when appliances of all colours have been made, manufacturers always maintain white versions and probably always will.
