One of my favourite affiliates is John Lewis. Over the last year I’ve bought my vacuum cleaner (a Sebo upright), my PVR hard drive recorder (a Humax) and my dishwasher (A Siemens) from them. (All these products were Which? best buys by the way – I wouldn’t like to buy any expensive item now without consulting Which? Online). In a run of bad luck combined with moving house I’ve also just ordered a new kettle and a Tumble Dryer (another Which? Best Buy) today from the John Lewis web site.

Dog washing machine invented
I don’t know what you think of this, but it seems bizarre to me. I would have thought most dogs are likely to find this stressful. Even the one in the video doesn’t look happy and he’s probably been in it a few times before. At least they don’t spin them – Dog washing machine (BBC News web site video)
