There’s a possible risk of fire in old refrigerators and freezers bought in 1994 or before. If your refrigerator or freezer was bought in 1994 or before, you should check to see if it is fitted with a Danfoss compressor.

John Lewis – the best?

One of my favourite affiliates is John Lewis. Over the last year I’ve bought my vacuum cleaner (a Sebo upright), my PVR hard drive recorder (a Humax) and my dishwasher (A Siemens) from them. (All these products were Which? best buys by the way – I wouldn’t like to buy any expensive item now without consulting Which? Online). In a run of bad luck combined with moving house I’ve also just ordered a new kettle and a Tumble Dryer (another Which? Best Buy) today from the John Lewis web site.

Cancelling the error code on an AEG washing machine

Simply cancelling an error code will only see it return if there’s a fault that hasn’t been fixed. However, once fixed, some AEG washing machines apparently still display the error code until reset.
