I’ve been pretty lax in this department as I’ve never really been about “selling” appliances. I do advertise plenty of affiliates where you can buy or compare prices but haven’t done many specific recommendations. I have strong opinions on particular brands of appliances though and here are some links to some you might find useful in helping make a buying decision.

If you are looking to buy from a company with recognised ethics, Electrolux has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the 110 companies in 38 industries that surpass their industry peers in the World’s Most Ethical Companies ranking of 2011 (in the Consumer Electronics section. They are the only domestic appliance manufacturer in the list.
Miele awarded best domestic appliance brand again

Miele have again won the Which? Best Domestic Appliance Brand Award. This is the second consecutive year Miele have won this award. They have scored more Best Buys across 10 domestic appliance groups than any other brand. Which? say that out of hundreds of domestic appliances they have tested, Miele’s score is unmatched with a total of 22 Best buys from the 10 categories.
